ALL STUDENTS should be aware of good grooming and hygiene. Please ensure your pre-teen and teenage children use a good anti-perspirant deodorant. Evolution Dance Studio is striving to be a peanut-free studio. Please note that NO peanut products may be brought into the studio. It is a good idea for all children to clean their hands prior to class.

Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 per person/family must be paid upon registration to hold your space in class. Classes run from September 2012 to June 2013. We use the same calendar as the school year for holidays. Registration is for the entire school year.

Fee Structure for Dance Year

Pre-dance - 45 minute class x 36 weeks (September 2012 to June 2013)

1 x 45 minute class per week

$48.00 per month / $432.00 per year + HST
($12 per class)

All other disciplines - 1 hour class x 36 weeks (September 2012 to June 2013)

Family Rate/Discount Plans
There is only 1 registration fee of $25.00 payable per family. Special familty rates are available. Call the studio for details.

Multiple Class Discount - See price schedule above with total amount of classes = different discounts. The more classes you take = the larger the discount per class.

Multiple Children Discount - Extra discounts when you register additional children:
   Second child - Save additional 10% off their yearly fees
   Third and any additional children - Save additional 20% off the 3rd and 4th child's
   yearly fees

Multiple Facility Discount for 10557 Keele Street - When joining Pure FX Fitness Gym or Davina’s Swimhouse you will receive extra discounts.

Assistant Teacher's Program - Assist 2 classes = receive 1 class free

Parent's Referral Program - Evolution Studio families can receive 1 free class for their child when they refer 5 new students who register.

Rates for Birthday Programs
Birthday Party's will be 2 hours in length. Price per party is $200.00 + HST with extra charges applicable if time exceeds 2 hours. Maximum 25 children - Extra charges are applicable for each additional child. Currently enrolled Evolution Studio students receive an additional $25.00 discount on their own party.

Rates for summer camps
Summer Camp Rates will be payable weekly with half day and full day programs.
   Half Day Program - $25.00/day + HST  OR  $125.00/week + HST
   Full Days - $50.00/day + HST  OR  $200.00/week + HST

Rates for Costumes
Recreational Program - $75.00 per costume
Competitive Program - Approximately $125.00 to $250.00 per costume

Rates for Costume Rental Program
All rental costumes will be rented out for a 4 -month period. A formal agreement will be signed. Any costumes needed longer than 4 months will be subject to additional charges.

Enrolment Protocol

In order to enrol your child/teen in dance classes, please follow the steps below:

1. Complete and sign a Registration Form.

2. Provide full tuition for the 2012/2013 year. (Either 3 equal payments or monthly instalments)

3. Submit in person.

Studio Policies

Dance fees for the 2012/2013 year can be made with a Debit, Visa or Mastercard Credit Card. The studio will also accept 3 post-dated cheques for each 12-week term. These cheques are to be dated: September 1st, 2012; December 1st, 2012 and March 1, 2013. A series of 9 Post-dated monthly cheques will be accepted for the part-time and full-time Competitive Programs. Please note the $100.00 early bird - extra discount special - is only valid with students who pay for the year in full.

If cancelling classes, the studio must be notified, in writing, at least two weeks prior to the end of the term. There will be no reimbursement for classes not taken. There will be no refunds for missed classes, except where the said class has been cancelled by the studio. The studio will allow make-up classes with the prior approval of the studio. There will be no refunds for cancelled classes due to severe weather conditions. Please contact the studio when there are severe weather conditions to see if classes have been cancelled. The directors of the studio have the right to combine or cancel classes with less than 5 students.

All N.S.F. and returned cheques will have a service charge of $25.00. It is now a Town of Vaughan By-Law that there is no smoking permitted anywhere in the studio. There will be no peanut products allowed in the studio or in class. Please ensure students are aware that gum chewing is not allowed in class.

Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

Children who are not dancing may not be left unsupervised at the studio. Please notify the studio with any changes to the Contact Information: Address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. Please call the studio if your child will be absent. Any Competitive students who have special events planned throughout the school year (Communion, Confirmation, etc.) please notify date to the office staff asap.

Dancer Code of Conduct

Students must show respect to teachers and peers at all times. All students must follow the dress code. Students must not vandalize dressing room areas or studios. Anyone caught will be responsible for damages. There will be no jewellery allowed in class. Students leaving money or valuables in the dressing rooms do so at their own risk. Do not bring valuables to the studio. Evolution Dance & Fitness Studio Inc. will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. All students should be aware of good grooming and hygiene.
